Star of the Sea takes place in the winter of 1847, when the famine ship by the same name is setting sail for the promised land of America with passengers whose lives and fates are more connected than any of them know. The cast of six, through Moonfish’s signature style of bilingual theater, plus video projections, choreographed movement and inventive sound effects, conjures up the worlds of those passengers. Adapted from Joseph O’Connor’s best-selling novel, this powerful production traces the effects of the Irish Famine through to the present. It is performed in both the Irish language and English.

Please reserve now and join us! Call 413-333-4951 to book.
