Remembering James Cannon

Jim CannonOn this beautiful fall morning, the Irish Cultural Center family has very sad news for our Patrons and friends.

A great fan of being Irish, a long-time activist, a decades-long Irish Cultural Center Board member and a key player in the present day success of the ICC, James (Jimmy) Cannon of Holyoke passed away on November 2.

Calling hours are Tuesday, November 9 from 4 – 7 pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home in Holyoke. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, November 10 at 10 am in Saint Jerome Church in Holyoke. Burial will be private.

We send our condolences to his wife Susan, and his family and friends.
