Sunday Céilí Dance October 6

The ICC invites you to come and dance the afternoon away at our new Sunday Céilí! Held on the first Sunday of the month, the first Céilí will be on October 6 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Entry fee is $5 per person, payable at the door. Snacks will be provided, including cheese, cracker, frips, veggies and dips. For heartier fare, the Irish House Restaurant and Trinity Pub will be open to order sandwiches, salads, and soups. Dance instruction will be available. Featuring the New England Céilí Band (Jimmy McArdle, John Joe Martin and Jerry Murphy).

Jimmy McArdle, an original member of the Irish folk band The Bards, has performed with many well known acts such as the Wolfe Tones and the Clancy Brothers. He has also played alongside world renowned flutist James Galway at the famous Black Rose in Boston. Jimmy continues to perform in western MA, Cape Cod and throughout the Boston area. He often teams up with the area’s finest musicians, including drummer John Joe Martin from Co. Kerry and Holyoke’s accomplished accordion player Jerry Murphy.
