Irish Language Classes

In cooperation with Elms College, the Irish Cultural Center is pleased to offer a range of Irish classes for the 2022/2023 academic year. In addition, this partnership is again successful in bringing to campus our thirteenth consecutive Irish Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant, Emer Maguire, from Ardee, County Louth.

Emer is a Senior Infant Classroom Teacher, covering the Irish Primary Level Curriculum which includes the Irish Language. She has danced for over 15 years, competing at local, national and international feiseanna. Emer plays the whistle and is a member of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann in Drogheda, Louth and ‘Brú na Bóinne,’ a cultural group of traditional singers, dancers and musicians.

Classes this fall will be taught via Zoom and in person. See class descriptions for details. To enroll for classes, download the registration form and send to the Elms College Registrar. ICC Patrons receive a $50 discount. Send in your registration by August 31.
